Copperhead pickups was formed for one simple
reason, to offer great sounding, vintage and custom wound pickups at a
reasonable price.
A players tone is often the most referred to thing when people talk about
them. We believe we can give you pickups that will provide a tone that
you would be proud to have others talk about and try to copy.
All of the
pickups created by Copperhead are assembled and hand-wound (scatter wound)
in Guelph Ontario Canada using the same type of components found in those vintage pickups. All
our Strat pickups are made with fiber flatwork, Alnico magnets,
Formvar or Plain Enamel wire and come with vintage cloth covered leads. The only machine involved is the winder itself. You will not find mass produced,
low quality import pickups here, only great sounding vintage and custom
winds. All pickups are wound when ordered, not before. This
allows you to request any type of wind or pickup combination.
